Shalnhh: S'Kra Clans
Sraan Indakar/Thunder Clan -- a large clan from the desert/badlands, has a reputation as a wild bunch, but they're setlled and only occasionally raid their neighbors. ;)
Sraan Mhhg/Serpent Clan -- very involved in interprovincial commerce and politics, a rich, respected, dignified clan.
Sraan Irhhnth/Scorpion Clan -- a smaller, poorer clan today, but took the lead in the S'kra role way back in the Elven-Human war and is still one of the more prideful clans.
Sraan Smolg/Tail Clan -- paladins, champions, heroes, star atheletes, the very best craftsmen and bards -- very exclusive, their children are exiled from the clan if they don't have what it takes.
Sraan Arna/Boulder Clan -- they've rarely have any dealings with anyone else in the past few hundred years. Almost nobody knows where they're from or how large the clan is.
Sraan Rasha/Flower Clan -- a nomadic clan, they're very laid-back, completely uninvolved in politics and unconcerned with money as long as they have what they need for their wandering lifestyle. Well-suited to bards and rangers
Sraan Malk/Gold Clan -- a mountain clan. Miners, traders, craftsmen, mercenaries. Quite the opposite of Sraan Rasha ;)
Sraan T'Lar/Drum Clan -- the larger part of the clan abides in the jungles well to the south of Ilithi, and produces exotic medicines and poisons as well as vicious warriors. Some of them left centuries ago to become desert nomads/traders/raiders, rumored to be slavers even today.
Sraan Mehath/Wind Clan -- the honored dead heroes of the S'kra Mur. (Sort of a Valhalla thing ;) It once was an ordinary mountain clan, but it was wiped out entirely in the Elven-Human War.
Sss'Kra info --
S'kra are reptiles, not mammals, thus they don't have certain, um, external physical features which define mammals.
Now, just because they're reptiles doesn't mean they lay eggs; there are quite a few reptiles and amphibians that practice live birth, and the S'kra are one of them. ;) They also don't shed skin, though they might oil it for special occasions. They don't sweat, but then they like the heat a lot more than Humans do, because they don't generate much of their own.
